Vacancy: Part-Time Cook – Scarborough Yacht Club

Scarborough Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Cook to join our team.

This role involves the preparation and service of meals from our Galley for a minimum of two sessions per week, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00–3:00 PM. Additional hours may be available, including the opportunity to support events and arrange occasional catering by agreement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, buying, and preparing food for weekend service
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen area
• Working independently to deliver quality food to members and guests
• Optional: Additional bar duties may be available depending on experience and interest

Requirements:

• Experience in a kitchen or catering role is preferred
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Friendly and approachable manner
• Ability to work independently
